Nkuko babisize mu rwandiko rwabo rugizwe n’ingingo zishika 11 ,komite y’ishirahamwe ry’ibihugu vy’ubumwe bwa Africa yasiguye ivyashitsweko mu nama iheruka gukorana y’abakuru b’ibihugu ariko mu ngingo yayo ya 11 yashikirije ivyerekeye MAPROBU aho bamenyesheje ko bahisemwo guheba ingingo yo kurungika abasirikare ba MAROBU mu Burundi ,ariko bamenysha ko ibiganiro bitegerezwa kwihutirwa kugira uBurundi busubire burangwemwo amahoro n’umutekano.

Isomere ingingo ya 11 iri mururwo rwandiko rwasohowe na komite y’ishirahamwe ry’ibihugu vy’ubumwe bwa Africa.

11.    Council, in the light of the foregoing:

a)    Decides not to deploy MAPROBU because it considers it premature to send such a force to Burundi and that an inclusive political dialogue must be supported under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. Mr. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni;

b)    Further decides to dispatch a high level delegation to Burundi to meet with the highest authorities of the Republic of Burundi, as well as with other Burundian stakeholders, to hold consultations on the inclusive Inter-Burundian Dialogue;

12.    Requests the Chairperson of the Commission to take all the necessary initiatives to enable the expeditious mobilization of international assistance in support for the Inter- Burundian Dialogue;  

13.    Expresses its gratitude  to the United Nations, the European Union, ICGLR, and other international partners for their multifarious  support to the Inter-Burundian Dialogue, under the auspices of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and urges them to continue their support;

14.    Requests the Chairperson of the Commission to urgently take all necessary initiatives to facilitate the efforts of the ongoing mediation, including the mobilization of the necessary financial and technical resources;

15.    Reiterates its appreciation to the neighbouring countries hosting Burundian refugees, particularly Tanzania, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda, and appeals to the international community to continue and increase its assistance in order to alleviate the suffering of Burundian refugees;

16.    Requests the Chairperson of the Commission to transmit the present Communiqué to all  Member States and to the UN Secretary-General and through him, to the UN Security Council for its action as appropriate;

17.    Decides to remain actively seized of the matter.
